It hasn't given me local news near me. So I uninstalled
Works great. No buffering or popups
Edit 1 year later. STILL TOO MANY UPDATES. I open app to listen to something live and breaking news, but can not do it because it is forcing an update before I can listen. I'm switching to TuneIn to listen from now on. Needs updating WAY TOO OFTEN. The developers need to find a better way update sponsored content. When I need to use the app I shouldn't be forced to update and waste mobile data first.
